FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: COVER, INNER PANEL, UNDER CD, TRAY BACK

Project details: The band and record label had already discussed the direction they wanted for the cover before I was invloved. I was given a stack of pictures of pillars, temples, and related imagery, and was told to render that subject matter in my style. I decided to hand paint and draw the images rather than scan in photographs because I wanted to have a slightly less digital look for this project. The three panels with paintings shown here were created with acrylics, oils, gouache, and pencil over gesso coated hardboard.
